If you play WoW, make a character on the Crushridge realm, Horde side

there are a bunch of OTers on there and we'd help you out as much as possible (in game names to add to friends list would be Calles, Quink, Cunningliuss)

WoW doesn't exactly have a steep learning curve in terms of gameplay, it's pretty basic, it just seems overwhelming at first because of all the options etc

if you were to message any of us in the game we could easily walk you through anything you may need help with

(also, if you're looking to start a new account, let one of us know before you make it, and we'll use the Recruit a friend option to help you level up quicker)

wow is very simple, once you get the hang of it.

just takes an hour or so to get accustomed to it.

WoW is about as newbie friendly as an MMO can get. EVE is great too, but can feel pretty overwhelming at first. Additionally if you don't plan to play for a long amount of time, WoW is the way to go.

yep, if you're looking for the most user-friendly MMO, definitely WoW. Not only is the game very, very simple, when you get to the complicated end-game stuff, there is enough of a player base to find the information you need either on the web or from players in-game

I actually had a mentally challenged guy ask to play my game when I was playing WoW in college. He comes by my table and asks to play. I say, sure, go ahead. He moves my character around, gets aggro. I tell him to click the buttons on the hotbar and he can't figure it out. Starts running, dies. He leaves all embarrassed. I felt really bad.

I know it's an old post, but I'd be willing to start a new account if anyone wants to do the RAF thing, since my only other char is an Alliance toon.
