?How big was it
MCB Quantico. Really big.
Fort Hood and Fort Benning is pretty big too
Is Pendleton bigger than most of those listed above? (How big is it?)
Ft Leonard Wood
29 Palms is like 300 square miles.
Eglin AFB wins hands down, the thing is HUGE.
"Located east of Pensacola, its 724 square miles of land range occupies much of the Northwest Florida panhandle. Its 101,000 square miles of air space extends over the eastern third of the Gulf of Mexico, an area extending from the panhandle to the Florida Keys. Seventeen miles of shoreline allow T&E in both a littoral environment and over a land-water interface."

ahh, 3rd phase of ranger school was out of there
Eglin and then Holloman AFB in NM
then don't count it, it is the biggest based on land size.
Norfolk Naval Base. Based on military population it is the largest military installation in the world
I'm stationed at Eglin right now and it is big!
FORT HOOD is the biggest army post i think
The only big bases I've been on are Pope AFB, Lackland AFB, and Fort Sam Houston.
I've been In Norfolk, VA, but not on the base.
I don't really know the real size of any of them.
Eglin in the states and Ramstein overseas.
Ft. Ord or Ft. Hood... NTC is pretty big... I dunno which is biggest
I've been to Lakenheath/Mildenhall. My oldest son was born at the Mildenhall Air Force hospital.
I was stationed at RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge. Had some good times there.
Offutt AFB is the largest one ive been to.
Yeah, I saw some recent pics somewhere on the web of the BW/WB twin bases.
I think we overstayed our welcome in the area. My experience with the British improved remarkably the further from Suffolk I roamed. The more familiar they were with our single GI's, the less they liked us.
Biggest Army Airfield: Ft. Campbell.
Coldest: Ft. Wainwright
I stayed about 3 months there with my buddies sister and her husband. Also stayed at fort leonard wood missouri (with same buddies sister and her husband) it was a nice base also
But i'd say fort knox is the biggest base i've seen
