Treat it just like paint. Don't use wheel cleaners either.

Some wheel cleaners will damage the clearcoat found on most rims, especially if the wheel is warm or hot it will peel it off, fade, or haze. Clean them well with soap and water, then use a nice wheel wax. When you use a wheel wax it makes wheel cleaning MUCH easier in the future, all you have to do is rinse off with water and maybe take a rag to a couple spots and its clean again.

So true. The only time I use a dedicated cleaner it when they are really bad. Then I only do one at a time.

Bro, I bet yours never get that bad so just use your let over wash water. I've been using DP's Wheel Glaze. The Glaze cleans really well and protects for over 2-3 months when cleaned with wash water.

    Another tip:
Use left over clay to get your wheels really clean!!!

Clean your wheels regularly and you will never need it.
