GUN what is +P and all of that

    what is it, 5% above SAAMI specs? and +P+ would be 10% above?

    just more of what a bullet is supposed to do?

    Yeah, +P just means the round is an increased pressure load. More recoil, more wear on the gun, and nominally more power. +P+ is the same just even more so.

    yeah, manufacturers automatically, for liability reasons, tell you not to use +P loads in their firearms. however, many firearms, often designed outside the US, were actually designed for the higher pressure loads. glock is one such firearm.

    The HK Mark 23 is designed to fire some stupid number of +p loads...20,000ish..that sound about right?

    probably. glocks have been known to get 30K or more.
