what is ideal cpu temperature?

    i have an amd, mine seems like it runs hotter than it should.

    are there any programs that can show you your cpu temp while still in windows?

    what's a high temp? i.e. hot but not dangerous

    I'm guessing it's fine all the way to 100* C or more.. most chips are rated up to 125* C I think, right?

    Mine usually is between 48c-55c and max's at 60c while playing some games that are a little graphics instense
