I want to lose some weight but I feel have the need to eat large portions of food to avoid from going hungry in 30 minutes. I am 6 feet tall and weigh about 245 pounds and I used to do weight training 10 years ago so i have some muscle mass left over but not as much of course and my build is bigger than the average person (not fat wise, just a bigger frame) so i think that is probably why I need to eat so much (burn more calories than the average joe). What can I do to curb my appetite? I know I need to burn the calories I am taking in and the fat I have to lose weight.

Eat more food, and food with high protein and fiber. Broccoli will make you feel fuller than what you are.

But mainly just eat more meals throughout the day. But just smaller portions.

E/C stack is doing pretty well for curbing my apetite. Before starting it I would have to struggle to not go over 2,400 cals. Since I started I have little problem staying under 2,100.

But if that is not something you want to try coffee works decently. And of course smoking, but I would not recommend that, lol.

I don't ever drink coffee, but when I do it definitely curbs my hunger.

I have the opposite problem. I eat enough to fill me up at meals, but by the end of the day I'm waaaay short on calories.
