so my gym membership ran out and every gym in the area has raised their prices over the last year or so to ~$400ish :)rofl:). I was paying around 100 before... anyway, I can't afford that right now and my gf and I were thinking about buying a decent home setup instead. anyone recommend a set in particular? can spend $200-$300 weights not included. I'm looking for a similar setup to this where there are pins so you can have a makeshift squat rack:

    :ugh:

it's not that i want that specific brand in the image I posted, or even all of the shitty attachments or anything, I'm just looking for something that has the same overall feel. (adjustable bench and you can squat in the back of it)

power rack and an adjustable bench was a way better answer than yours. only thing is that I've never seen a power rack for cheap before...

well power rack was my first answer

and you can get a power rack for $299 brand new from powerline(bodysolid).

Or spend a little extra. I got my Powertec rack for $340 from bb.bom with free shipping. Then just pick up a used f/i/d bench and some weights and you are set.
