Im looking at a new 350D Kit on Ebay and was wondering what would be the better kit for lenses. It includes other things like a CF card, tripod ect.. but im just wondering about the lenses

    Kit 1 includes Canon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 and a canon EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 $1,088.00

    Kit 2 includes Sigma 28-70mm f2/8-4 and a Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro $1,118.00

    Thanks

I would hold off getting the 7x-300 lens. The entry level telephoto zooms are soft and shitty. Just get a kit with a decent mid-zoom (see Tamron f2.8 28-75mm) and get a normal lens (see f1.8 50mm) and start saving for a decent telephoto if you decide you want to take those kind of pictures. :)

Post some 100% crop pics with another lens for comparison. From what I've seen, it's the sharpest lens in its price range.

:werd: If it is anything like my Tamron 28-75 f2.8 then sharpness isn't a problem.
