What intake and PCM do you guys recommend for my 2000 Grand Prix GTP?

I've been looking around at various intakes on ebay and the prices vary from $6 (With $25 shipping :hsugh: ) to up to $60 (with ~$15 shipping).... but they all appear to contain the same stuff: tubing, clamps, cone filter, etc.

What would be the best in terms of performance and flow to get?

Also, there seems to be a million different types of PCM :hsugh: There are several I have my eye on, but I thought I'd ask you guys what you would recommend.

I plan on getting a 3.4" pulley aswell... but that is easy enough to find. :mamoru:

    Go!

    Edit: Grand* you mofos :squint:

GTP's can make some serious power, and can run decent times at the strip if your looking for that.. I am a firm believer of not purchasing auto parts especially aftermarket ones off ebay... I have a friend that has w/i (water injection) on his GTP, he is actually away in iraq... but you can check out his site www.devilsownonline.com very good w/i kits he sells.

    Thanks for the links. :bigthumb:

But every one of those websites have different intake systems, and the prices all vary.

Okay, let's say YOU were shopping for an intake for your theoretical GTP. What would YOU buy? Link? :o

i've seen enough water injection systems do jack shit to know they ain't worth it. alkie injection would be better but its not needed until the car is crazy modded. and if he's getting enough knock to justify either of those, then there is something seriously wrong with the car.

i already told you... keep in mind i have a grand prix.

    $50 for a FENDERWELL intake.....

why spend $100+ on a intake that just dresses up your engine bay... the homemade FWI flows the most air.

    I have a Whizair intake from ZZPerformance.com

i likie it alot. As for the PCM, id get a DHP. Right now i run an Intense PCM, but there is about a 50% split on where pwople stand on them. I think im going to get a DHP once i get my rockers installed.

Also, cant go wrong with a 3" downpipe and u bend delete

"By injecting a fine spray of water/alcohol into the inlet air stream of the engine you will both dramatically cool the charge air and raise the effective octane of the fuel. Both help to eliminate detonation-the enemy of any engine, especially those under boost with today's lower octane gas."

    http://www.smcenterprises.com

If you just spray in water, it wont do anything. If you just increase boost, you will get detonation and blow your motor. You inject water and/or meth AND increase boost, and you dont get detonation. its the equivalent of running race gas. Please dont speak of things you know nothing about.
