What have YOU found works best for your workouts?

    I tried muscle milk, I have creatine currently, and i havent had much results. I dont know hardly anything about lifting, and im real skinny. Im not trying to get buff by any means, just a respectable, average, healthy looking size.

    Is there any general workout layed out specifically to increase mass? Just a general workout plan to help all muscles would be good...

    Also what excersizes have you found work best for abs?

    (Id be willing to read a link to a good guide as well)

    Sounds like you are an ectomorph, do a google search for 'bulking for ectomorphs', there's a whole book for guys like you.

    If you tried your absolute hardest to get buff, you'd still come up miserably short.

    I'm not bashing on you. I'm telling you that getting "buff" or big at all takes a lonnnnggg time and a lot of effort.

    If you eat a lot and lift a lot you're going to fill out well. Read the stickies.

    ab exercises that I like are weighted decline situps (lower yourself slowly and keep your abs as tight as possible, otherwise you might hurt your lower back) and cable crunches.



    www.exrx.net is a good place to learn how to do exercises and find new ones.

    www.t-nation.com good articles, you can search their database for bulking for ectomorphs, etc.




    Also like fatdude said, you need to be squatting, bench pressing, and deadlifting.

    metal music. It's all in the mood when you enter. If you workout not feeling it your doing a shitty workout. You gotta enter or be able to enter the mood to do work. After that just eat and sleep. O' natural has worked for me, just slower.
