been gone a week, fill me in....

hit a 451lb deadlift last week, looks like I'll have to up my target for the meet next month.

squat has gone to shit from hip problems, hit 330 for 3 off a low box, was ment to be for 5, still want to hit 400lb in the comp next month.

I need advice on buying a squat suit, sizing etc. anyone got any input they could offer?

If you want, look for a local dealer, i know there is one down there in kangaroo land.
I was told to get the Competition fit, it is saposedly incredibly hard to get on, but it shoudl eive good support.

I was looking at the inzer hardcore, do you think I'll be able to pull in this?

also I only currently weigh 183lb (yer I'm really starting to get pissed off with this)

    Size chart recommends a 32 (170 - 185lb) or 33 (185 - 195) , but ideally I want to be over 200lb, if not 220lb. If I were to get a size 34 (195 - 210lb) or 35 (210 - 235lb) would it offer any support at my current weight?

I had a 36 on when i weighed 225 ish, and it sucked for support, I like Titan, I have a shirt made out of the NGX material, it is way better than the hardcore shit.. call a dealer, and discuss witht hem where you are at, If you are gonna be 40 pounds havier, dont get the competition fit. Those prices on there website suck, i went in and bought a suit for 85.00 vs. the 155 posted on the site.

    ipf meet

    so single ply

I want adaptability in squat dance, and capabilities of deadlifting in it too....

perhaps I am asking to much from a suit, but I'm rather strapped for cash atm.

I've found it be a good investment. I dont think I get that much of it, but it's a beginner suit. I didn't want to start out with something crazy.

I won't be training to much in it, ofcourse I'll practice a lot, but most if not all my heavy work will be done raw.

What did you squat in the last meet? I done forgot.

Yeah, the guys i train with only use gear like a month and a half out from each meet. Everything else is completely raw except knee wraps a couple weeks before we go w/ suit bottoms.

I know what you mean. I've made a lot of progress recently, but my form is still pretty bad. I tend to totally forget everything once I get something like above 95% on my back
