my goal isn't really size or leanness but I've been noticing a good improvement in physique with a westside type upper/lower split more or less outlined by Joe Defranco in West-Side for Skinny Bastards part III.

in all seriousness I do best with low volume, moderate frequency, high intensity

    compound lifts

always have some heavy training at least 1 set a week for the muscles you want to get bigger

And I stopped writing out routines in advance because my schedule/sleep/caloric intake are so variable. I've learned to just know when I'm ready for the gym again. Most important thing I've learned as of yet.

To keep showing up at the gym day after day.

The longer I do this the more I think that my routine structure does not matter so much as simply lifting and eating enough.

I second this, even though the structure does matter I think that your frame of mind is the best way to think about things once you have the necessary knowledge to know what/when to do

Didn't know you ran npp, did you like it?

I was thinking about doing that for my next cycle but the whole loss of sexual function deal with nandrolone doesn't sit too well with me.

I think I might just stick to dbol and prop next one, maybe some masteron in there too.

    What'd you run it with?

Didn't notice anything on your joints or strength / weight-wise?
