6 months or so ago there were many under $20k. Now, looking on Autotrader, Cars.com, and craigslist I see them all back up to $22k+?

I thought with Pontiac on the chopping block and the economy still in the shitter those deals would still be around. My wife needs a new car, really likes the G8, and we hoped to find one around $20k, maybe a hair less.

    Now I'm sad...

:werd: Gm is saying they may kill Pontiac on Monday. So we'll see what happens to resale value.

As soon as I can find a G8GT in either black or red with leather under 20k im picking it up. :x:

    same here.

Wife's car isn't dead yet, so we can wait a bit, but I was sad to see the value go back up...

They were going for cheap since alot of those were exec cars or promo cars with low low miles.

    Great car IMO

GXP is the only way to get the 6-speed and not worth the $10k price hike IMHO

Get a G8GT... heads, cam, exhaust and hit it with a 150 shot and be done with it.

And kiss any warranty good bye. Its a brand new car on a new platform so I would want my warranty.

the GXP also features better brakes.

I was up to $11,000 off MSRP last week when negotiating with the dealer.

MSRP here is $40,000 though. :o

even if the gov backs warranty the dealer network will shrink drastically and parts will be difficult to source
