I'm in Colorado and I go to more than one place to train, I was just wondering where everyone else trained.

    Easton BJJ
    http://www.bjjboulder.com/adult/index.php

Main Instructor is Amal Easton, awesome place to train, worth every penny imo.

    T's KO Boxing
    http://www.tskofightclub.com/

Main coach is Trevor Wittman, awesome, awesome coach. Hes really technical and always finds something wrong with my jab, form, etc. (to help me out of course). He is also the trainer of Duane Ludwig, Nate Marquedt, Vernon Phillips, and more.

    Boulder Judo

    yes :wtc:

My BJJ place doesn't offer any striking so I have to go a different place. And Judo I'm taking just because I love the sport and respect it so much.

My parents pay for my tuition and car so all i have to worry about is the payments and gas which they help out sometime, mainly at the end of each month.

But I work as a sushi chef and I do get tips including my pay which comes around to $14 / hour. Now that school has started, I'm only going to work Saturday which I get 10 hours in, and 40 hours a month @ $14 comes around to $560 give or take.

I thank god for my parents.

I didn't want to post the website of my main school because honestly it makes the school out to be pretty gay. My instructor runs a successful business in a place with a LOT of competition, and all I can say is, that the training I recieve there is extremely sound, all the instructors are skilled fighters who will prove it on the mats, and who all continue to actively crosstrain to keep their game fresh. I know I am getting defensive over nothing but it could be easy to misinterpret what you see and declare that I train at a McDojo. But I train at one of the very few schools in Austin that has managed to retain it's integrity as martial artists, while also running a successful business. But anyway you my cage bros and I hope you won't make fun of me too bad. These guys know their shit, even if the website is really gay.

Another thing to consider is factored into my choice of this school is my MS, which may or may not decide to do many wacky things to me in the future, some of which include loss of ability to walk (again), loss of vision (again), reduced balance, corrdination, stamina, etc etc etc, and I have chosen a school that will allow me to continue to train and work no matter what my disease manages to throw at me.

    anyway here's my schools.

Expensive yeah but you can't argue the results of his students. Elliot Marshall, Nick Cline, Finney Mcharon, they're freakin awesome.

    I regularly go to three:

    Team Quest (Dan Henderson's gym) - teamquestmma.com
    Rodriguez Kickboxing (for private coaching)
LA Boxing (once a week or so for a little sparring)

And I have access to a resort lap-pool & treadmill for working cardio.
