Most people around here have been told to read articles on various websites to gain knowledge, but alot of these same websites are pumping out literature for lifters who are geared up, lifting for meets. In what way should I filter the knowledge I read around the internet for my raw lifting?

LOL, I've read both of those articles before. Thanks for posting them though.

How can you tell when you start reading an article what kind of lifter its suited for? I'm trying to upgrade my bullshit detector so I can read more and deal with less bullshit.

Anything that stresses triceps over everything else and deals mainly with lockout strength is gonna be suited towards a shirted bencher.
