What does OT think of this Panasonic Plasma

    i personally LOVE panasonic but I would rather get HD instead of ED. Unless you have NO use of HD.. As past experience, panasonic has been the best electronics company that i have used, they're shit just doesn't break.. (maybe I've been lucky):)

    dont they have those already? 1080p same as 1080i?

    Nope. 1080i is interlaced, while 1080p is progressive scan. Basically, 1080p refreshes twice as much as 1080i vertically, which will give better picture quality.

    Agreed. I'm looking into getting a 42" 1080p HDTV plasma in the fall. I would look into other offerings by panasonic, dell, sharp, fujitsu, etc.
