discuss. Might buy one tomorrow (2005 new) for like 26k.
6.0L LS2 > *
for 26k, you can't get a better car
great power, nice interior...but the exterior's uninspired for what the car is. If they had made it look nicer on the outside, it would've sold a lot better
I have to agree man....i dont get why some people dont like it. Almost won Topgear car of the year, looks pretty cool, inside is nice, handles well, accelerates like crazy.
Agreed. Need to spice it up a bit. Monaro body looks better IMO
Drivetrain lacks for nothing, but the body needs some help from the aftermarket.
Styling is a little bland, but it does give the car a sleeper look. You can always get a monaro front end ($$$) if you want to totally change the appearance. Is the car a 6speed or auto?
id buy one if i had the cash so id say go for it dude
Wow thats a badass deal for a new one.
as long as its a 6speed
if you can get it for 26k, its about the best you can possibly do in that price range.
ps-this coming from an 05 gt owner that got his for 26k. if gto and stang are same price, then gto > stang unless you intend to heavily modify it or do a lot of 1/4mi track racing, then solid rear axle > IRS and bigger aftermarket > smaller, more $$$, more refined aftermarket
IMO a car that important to Pontiac's branding should never have been a rebadged Monaro in the first place.
very nice IMO
I love mine, get one.
midnight blue, black interior, 6 speed.
It's very nice. Exterior is understated, but looks good.
Very very good criticisms and input in this thread. Thanks bro's.
is there a rebate on those right now?
I could tell you how cheap you could actually buy one
isnt there a site that has pics of like every body kit that is out for it? Think I saw one a long time ago....I am debating paying extra for the factory add-on spoilers.
The newer ones arent nearly as bad IMO. When Im ready for a new car Ill be looking at LS1 powered ones because Im sure theyll be going cheap.
I dont think so broly, I just saw a pretty good deal on an 05 at the dealer.
My car (30th anniversary TA) is a garage queen for all intents and purposes. I'll be getting my wife a new car this fall, I'll suffer w/ her Malibu for a bit longer and pick up a used 05 goat sometime after that. 400hp
I could tell you invoice minus holdback just so you know where you stand on it...
yea sure, i'd like to know if its not too much trouble
