I think everyone should have a revolver in there collection, i have a Colt .357, dont carry it very frequently and been thinking about selling/trading it lately for one of those hamerless revolvers :dunno: I'de probably go with a .357 one over .38 though, can still shoot the .38 stuff in it but use something a little heavier if you ccw it. Sounds like a pretty good price on that one though if you do decide to go for that model.

I want a scandium S&W.. i think its called an airlight, or airweight..something like that..

lightest damn gun I ever felt.. would make a great pocket gun for heavy-coat carry..

    I want a CZ75 so badly.. but I'm afraid if I get one I'll neglect my G34 :o

Air weight yeah I've checked them out, huge improvment over my colt brick, on the bright side I'm confident I could shatter someones skull if I had to use it as a weapon in hand to hand combat :eek3:

I shot one of my RO's .38 snubnose because i had mentioned to him i was thinkin about getting one but had never shot one. Damn thing nearly took my hand off. I think i wasnt holding it right though because apparently the "idiot mark" for shooting a snubnose is if you get a bloody thumb. and i got myself a bloody thumb. I prolly shot it with a bad technique. But either way it kinda made me shy away from a J-frame. Ive got a glock 26 i shoot 10 times better.

I have heard that the feather weights really beat up your hand though...

well, yeah, thats a given. for the most part, all factors being equal, lighter gun = less absorbtion of recoil = more recoil for the shooter.

    and vice versa

I would carry a small revolver, but I sure wouldn't waste money on a .38 model. Get one in .357 so you have the option of shooting both calibers instead of locking yourself into the smaller one.
