im thinking of buying some vans and the buyer says their samples. what does this mean?
A sample is something that is still in production stages. There's a possibility that the sample will never actually go into production, which makes them rarer if they don't.
samples are usually also available before the shoe is officially released. aside from getting them pre-release or if the shoe never gets made at all, they usually aren't any different then a production pair. just make sure the seller isn't confusing samples for b-grades cause that's an entirely different story.
edit: b-grades meaning they would be inferior quality and have some sort of defect. usually will have a big B marked on the inside tag.
