Whenever I get really stressed, or my anxiety gets real bad, I have this habit of either smoking a cigarette, or wanting to smoke one real bad. I was wondering if I like conditioned myself to need this, or if I'm actually addicted to them. Also, is nicotine something that actually calms you in the first place, or am I just fooling myself when I freak out? :hsd:

    I chill.

Either get to the beach or woods and jus sit there staring blankly at something. OR I have some type of drink and listen to some music, again, staring blankly at something.

Does the trick for me. :)

I usually go for a run or I hit my heavy bag. Then I take a nice hot bath followed by a cool shower.

Read a book with all electronical stuff switched off. I always find that when I'm annoyed or bugged, anything like TV or being on the computer makes it worse. Read a book, go sit outside, lay on your back, stare up and think, listen to slow music (classical if you like it?) and just let your body die (in the sense of dont move any part of it). Works a treat for me.

For people who have STRESS as their last name like me, watching a few girls rowing in boats singing songs and doing absolutely NOTHING all day long is pure awesomeness. The anime is basically about nothing and is called Aria The Animation.

I like the clothes, and the beauty of their voices as they sing. Its a really attractive non voilent anime with zero action. Venice is really well drawn, and when i watch that stuff i just relax 100%, keywords are beach, water, relax. :)

Have a quick puff, put on the headphones, lay on the floor, stare at the ceiling, and listen to Gregorian Chants.

I like to exercise to burn stress. Pushups, situps, walking and riding my bike all help decrease stress levels.

Depends on what's causing me to be not relaxed. If I'm angry about something, I find a punching bag and eventually pull out of it when I realize my knuckles are covered in blood. If I'm frustrated at inability to cause action, I meditate, preferably floating in a pool. If it's an excess of day to day demands, I cook.

Just a thought... consider some heavy bag gloves? They're less than $5.

When I need to relax, I:

    a) Get the fuck off the internet.
    b) Read a book.
    c) Pick blackberries (though after my recent run-in with chiggers, this might not qualify as relaxing anymore...)
    d) crank up my favorite music
    e) fapfapfapfap
    f) track boyfriend down and cuddle

    Or any combination thereof.
