    Itunes?

I just got my new mac....

I have all my mp3s on a NAS but everytime I click the song to listen to it.. Itunes copies it over to its folder first....

Maybe there is a better .. listen to my damn music option?

No, IMO iTunes is the way to go (what is a nas?).

But, just open all the MP3s at the same time (shift>select) and they'll all copy to iTunes, then just delete the originals.

Basically you're accessing your music from a server, and I'm assuming that you don't want the files transported to your computer...

If so, you can change the location of where iTunes gets your music, but I'm not sure exactly how to do this. If no one repsonds on here I'd suggest going to the apple disscusion boards, they are very helpfull over there.

I'm not positive if this'll work, but go to iTunes>Preferences>Advanced>Then select change location of iTunes music folder to wherever all of your music files are.

    :dunno:

worth a shot I guess. You can always change it back right away.
