For the screen, keyboard, outside, etc.
For the screen I use iKlear. They give out single samples at their booth every year at Macworld. After walking by a dozen or so times a day every day for 4 days at the show every year, I have enough to last me all year (I have at least a dozen still around from last year). $15 for a box of them is well worth it too.
Ill have to look into that. my screen needs to be cleaned. I should also take off my case and clean it off as well.
i bought a spray bottle of iklear (medium size) like 3 years ago and I still have half a bottle.
Rubbing Alcohol diluted with water.
screen - we have tons of screen cleaner wipes at work, so i just bring some home
laptop body - wet cloth and water
the body i just use rubbing alcohol.
the screen - i use a LCD cleaner with a microfiber cloth or cotton sock
iKlear + microfiber cloth
on my white macbook, i use a mr clean magic eraser to get rid of the yellowing. on the screen, i'll use a slightly damp microfiber cloth. on the plastic case, i'll use some rubbing compound and a microfiber - but it still scratches like crazy
Even diluted alcohol can be a bit harsh on the laptops screen coating. Should be just fine on other parts of the computer.
my new macbook came with a cleaning cloth
bathtub, warm water, about one ounce of soap and a sponge
I have a bottle of Zeiss lens cleaner that I use for just about everything. It's awesome, and it's designed for all sorts of coated optics so I don't worry about it hurting anything.
The iMacs do as well
