What do you think this custom pc is worth if i were to sell it?

    the computer has a 160gig hard drive, dvd+/-RW, 4 usb on the mobo and 5 more on a PCI card, fan controller, card reader, and fresh install of windows xp with service pack 2.

    With 22'' westinghouse monitor and new wireless keyboard/mouse.

    I've been out of the loop for a while, but I might buy it for $900 or so.

    I saw that too; it doesn't look like it's really XP though, because XP is version 5.x.

    if he hacked xp to run dx10, some hardcore gamer that can't get it to work (i have heard this basically is a total crap shoot) may want it.

    thats how i would market it anyhow, might be good for a couple hundred more who knows

    my guess is that the thread starter is probably using those 'Windows XP DX10 Gamers Edition' that are floating around in torrents and warez sites.

    nevertheless,... a hardcore gamer would probably know that the Radeon X1950 Pro is NOT a DX10 card

    i bought it for $50 at a garage sale. I have no clue what it is. I ran the dxdiag and yeah....i figured i could make a few dollars off it. I listed if for $400 on craigslist. Maybe i'll get a bite.

    you can get that monitor, Athlon CPU, and the Radeon X1950 for around $200 on ebay
    another $200 to cover the rest
    that's how I came up with the $400 amount
