    I'd rather buy a used remington 870 and a used s&w or ruger revolver.

    You can find used Remington 870's out there for the same price or maybe $20 more, why get some no name?

    Pay for what you get. If those prices are your budget, it's better to get something used but of good quality. Or, pick one or the other. $400 will get you a used Glock and $40 more will get you a new M&P.

    I bought a used 870 with sling swivels and three choke tubes for $175 and it was in great condition.
