Someone told me to ask myself the question: is it worth it to myself?
You got some good stuff, make it worth your while.

Yeah, You should be charging a lot more. Most work around here starts at 300 and is nowhere near your quality.

I agree with everyone. For that price, you are giving a hell of a deal. The stuff you've posted tops anything my senior class paid for

I decided not to base my prices on time. As I can be pretty efficient.

Basic headshots or portraits for me start at $200.

Senior photos package - $300 (I can get this done in an 1.5 hours max.) I offer the option to buy prints through me which really adds up too.

    Family package - $325 + $25 for each head over 5.

Basic weddings start at $1800 and go up from there.

I won't do a shoot for under $200 though now because people have been willing to pay it without question.

You do fantastic work, so I would not devalue it at all. Start higher where you belong. You can always be flexible with people if you want if they feel prices are too high. It also makes a name for yourself. Make sure to let people know your prices come with superior one-on-one customer service. Something you can't get nowadays. So they will be paying a premium for that as well as superior art work.

with your quality of work, i'd be charging much more, at least $50-75 more for each package, considering what you're giving 'em -- full res retouched photos, online gallery...awesome pictures

...yeah you definitely need to up the prices on your work.

I'm in a podunk market... there is a woman who regularly sells packages that are 1k+ and her work sucks... maybe charge those prices for a season, then raise them.
