    $700 from http://www.spheredesignsfurniture.com/dante_sofa.html

cedric keeps on telling Yardsale to get this sofa. I need a sofa and this seems like a pretty nice one for the price. Any others I should look at?

what about this one for $800 leather or $650 fabric? I'd like to stay with fabric since it's easier to clean and I don't want my skin to stick on leather sofas :hs:

btw, I live 30 miles south of this place so shipping shouldn't be too bad.

    first > second.

first says that you have taste. second says that you live alone and your most prized possession is a foosball table :o

I like the first picture better.

    cloth > leather for couches

:werd: leather couches remind me of joey from friends when he got his own apartment. and a creepy room mate i had who played DDR all day for exercise and hated baby kittens.

i'm not a big fan of the fixed back, single cushions, and tall, tapered legs

hard to beat that price though

I'm not a 100% fan of those either. If you can show me something else, I'm willing to take a look

I like that. Price range is flexible, but I'd like to keep it under $800. Actually, I'd like for it to be as cheap as possible, but it seems I can't really get anything quality for much less than that.

what about this? It should be around $600-700 or so from EQ3

go to the EQ3 store in Emeryville and test everything out. Their sofas were really hit or miss last time I was there. I wouldn't trust online pictures.

And for the love of god, please ask for swatches and take measurements so you know beforehand that the sofa is going to fit into your living room. :squint:

    what's a swatch?

and my living room is pretty big. As long as the sofa isn't too deep, I should be able to fit any length within reason

agreed, but I think I'll be safe if I get a 3-seater. I currently have a hideous love seat that I got for free, but it's dirty as hell and I really don't feel like cleaning it up.

I'm actually wondering, has anyone ever sat on any of these? Are they comfortable at all?

    I found this one;

But had my heart set on this one for our media room (yes, I know everyone hates Z Gallerie, but this is a damn comfy couch)

To go with this chaise I got for my 1st anniversary.

But, I'm all for a cheaper option if the comfort level is there. :)
