What do you think about the 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport?

    I am thinking of getting a 98 Cherokee Sport w/ 4.0L straight 6. My friend is sellen his, anbd he said he would sell it to me for 6k, its in really nice shape, very clean, so, what do you think? I need some recomendations.

    anything wrong with it?

    could be a steal for that price.

    Yeah, normally the 97+ XJ's with under 100k miles go for around $10-12k. Is it 2wd or something?

    Cherokees are great if you have the I6. The 4 cyl sucks.

    what do you want it for? Are you using it as a daily driver, or is it something you want to wheel? If you're gonna wheel it, I'd say the only bad thing is that they're spendy to lift (at least a decent lift).

    Do you have any pictures of it?

    Ive got a 96 Jeep Cherokee, and the ONLY complaint that I have is....no cupholders. It gets good gas mileage, and the straight 6 has more power than I know what to do with. Good daily driver and good in the winter. 6k for a 98 is a real steal
