I had one for a few months. Mine was very accurate for a fixed sight gun, but I found it to be too big for 9mm. And too heavy and large for concealed carry.

    i'd like them more if:
    1. the safety and decock were seperate
    2. my hands were larger
    3. DA pull wasn't so fucking heavy.

I like my 92FS, pretty accurate, never have experienced any FTEs or FTFs with it. Even with cheapy ammo. Probably wouldn't put my life on the line with a 9mm though. Rather carry a .45 or my .40 Glock.

The only one I've ever seen in action has never even finished a USPSA stage, let alone a match, even after a trip to the smith. It must be an anomaly since lots of people love them, but as they say first impressions are lasting impressions.

I stopped reading after that line. The guy is a dipshit. It's not the guns that were ineffective in the hollywood shootout, it was the training the officers received. Honestly, how many academies train you so you'll be able to effectively handle a situation where there are 2-3 guys with fully automatic weapons, walking around the streets shooting at everything that moves with no regards to anyones lives, not even themselves? I mean, the one dude shot himself in the head when the cops were closing in on him. The cops were probably shitting themselves. Having a .45 in that situation would only have meant that the officers would have less magazines and ammunition at their disposal.

Hell, I could argue that cops carrying CZ-52's would be the most effective sidearm just because the ammo is a good penetrator, even in body armor.

    I've got 3 beretta 92's. A 92FS, a 92D centurion and a 92C. I've also got a .45. Personally, I'd rather have a 9mm in a gunfight, whether it's a beretta or not, I dont care. It's just personal preference.

OK i went back and finished the article.

    oh god

So then I started looking at other article's this guy has written. WOW.

    His Bio:

Yep, he sounds like a real weapons expert :bowrofl:

Now, on to some of his other articles

Yeah, lets blame the ammo for an SKS not being accurate :mamorou:

    http://ezinearticles.com/?Insider-Comments-About-Wolf-Ammunition&id=446119

Having read some of his other articles, it looks like he's just copied a bunch of shit off of internet forums and pasted it into his "articles" without citing his sources. Otherwise, he's an army ranger, a police officer, a sniper, an expert at canning food and he also has time to run his post card business on the side :hsugh:.

what do you think of the 92c? i've always liked the way they looked but dont know much about them; i mean, other than it being more compact.

which do you like more the 92fs or the 92c?

the only real thing they have in common is they both are guns.

I have a 96 and i love it. Its such a smooth gun and so fun to shoot.

the only thing i hate about the gun is that the trigger pull is so long that you sometimes lose focus from anticipation. Going from 1911';s to the 96 is a difference of day and night (regarding trigger pull)...but other than that its a real great gun to have.

how about a double derringer. in .22? its a belly gun.

if .22's pack enough power to kill or at least neutralize the threat, i can sure as hell rely on a 9mm.
