First off, I'm an absolute caffeine junkie. I usually drink a pot of coffee in the morning, a couple cups of green tea, and at least one or two diet cokes during the day. In order to sleep, I need to stop (or so I thought) with caffeine at around 3p.m. Lately, I've been drinking a Monster Low-Carb energy drink right before workout (4:45 or so) and have had awesome workouts with all the extra energy. I'm pretty sure that although the Monster is sugar free, it probably isn't that good for me and isn't the most efficient method to get all fired up before a workout. I do take creatine, and I've taken an arginine/ornithine combo in the past and liked what I saw, so I started poking around the AF Store and saw Red Blast. Have any of you guys used it, and how would you rate it? I'm 197 lbs at 6'0", and currently working out Mon-Thurs going for strength/size: a few sets of 10/12 reps of manageable weight, and then I slowly work down the reps with a heavier weight until 1RM four or five times with 30-second breaks. Only supplements right now are a multi and protein (whey, casein, finishing up a little muscle milk). Any advice/experiences with RED BLAST or anything along those lines? Thanks bros.
