My 1TB Linux server has Azureus running on it. I connect via SAMBA, drop my .torrents into a folder, and pick them up in a different folder when they are done. Pretty slick setup, with no slowdown to my desktop machine. Oh and I can manage the torrents using Azureus' web frontend.

I think I'm the only person that likes azureus. I've tried tomatoe and bits on wheels and hated the user interface. Azureus works and is easy to use.

I can run Azureus, safari, iTunes and AIM all at the same time with little lag, on an old G3 iBook.

i've used both azureus and tomato. i'd have to say azureus is a little complex and tomato is a little dulled down. something in the middle would be perfect. i'll have to check out transmission when i get my powerbook back

I got a spare invite. I use azeurus. My friend is runnin tomato and HATES it, but he has like os 10.2... anyone have any recs for him? Also, if anyone knows the default port for tomato -- I had set up a port fowarding for him, but his internal IP changed and his settings got erased and now he doesn't know what port to open.
