My sis is getting married, and I've decide to get them a simple workout bench as a present. I haven't a clue what is good or not, but the following seems like a decently sturdy platform. What do you guys think? If it is a piece of junk, what would you guys suggest for $250 new?

To be frank I'm not sure of how good of a present this is... some people don't even WANT to work out.

What's the situation? Are they moving in together? They probably made a list of possible presents. If they didn't, ask your sister what they need.

A good coffee maker might be better.

Actually, I already told my brother inlaw about the gift and he's all for it. They are both avid rock climbers, so I just want to get them something simple to use during their down time.
