What do you guys do for forearms/

    I don't feel like I'm getting them enough with just the compound movements I do that use them. Thinking of adding in a little something maybe twice a week for just forearms. What are you guys using and what has worked best for you? Do grip exercises actually increase size or is it mainly just for strength?

    Ive never done a forearm specific exercise in my life and I'm more then happy with my forearms, Ive been called popeye, and I fucking hate spinach.

    Just work stuff into your workout that puts more emphasis on the forearms such as DB Lunges, Deadlifts with no straps, Hang Cleans, Heavy BB Shrugs. If thats still not doing it try towel pullups.

    Work sets of deadlifts without straps will develop some swole forearms

    In most cases - huge deadlift = huge forearms...



    I have neither so take my advice with a grain of salt :)

    db wrist curls overhand and underhand grip plus compound movements should get your forearms looking massive, just takes time

    hammer curls, reverse grip barbell curls, wrist curls with dbs/barbell

    mine have grown a ton and I never do forearm work or even grip training... I just do overhand grip on my deadlifts until it's too much to handle then I switch to mixed grip. I make sure to grip stuff as tight as possible when I'm doing any lift I guess that works for me for now.

    Also, what really kills my forearms is facepulls. When I was doing a bodypart split and my back day was deadlifts, pullups, rows, and face pulls, my forearms were so trashed by the end of the workout that I could barely open/close my hands.

    I work the shit outta mine and they are still the size of a little girls. I think it's highly genetic IMO
