What do you guys do for an ab routine?

    I'm doing chris's routine and I don't feel like my abs are really getting worked enough. I'm going to try throwing them in on day 2 for now, and I might do it twice a week later on down the road... I'm just not sure what I should be doing as far as reps/sets go. Does anyone use a swiss ball? And I'd like to use weights as well so I'm not just spinning my wheels doing 50 crunches. :hs:

    get on the decline bench and hold some weight behind your head, do a few sets of 15ish reps and then some leg raises with weight

    Lie face down on mat resting on the forearms, palms flat on the floor. Push off the floor, raising up onto toes and resting on the elbows. Keep your back flat, in a straight line from head to heels. Tilt your pelvis and contract your abdominals to prevent your rear end from sticking up in the air. Hold for 20 to 60 seconds, lower and repeat for 3-5 reps.

    I used to do that but it always wore out my neck long before my abs for some reason. :hs:

    sometimes hanging leg lifts if i'm feeling gay.


    but seriously squats have given me a larger stomach, which is kind of gay in clothing but when you take the clothes off you can tell its a muscly one and not a fat one :o When you are pulling out of the hole you can feel your core tighten up and strengthen for realz.

    I try to do ass-to-the-ground squats as much as I can, but I usually stick with 3/4 squats where you go until your thighs are parallel with the ground. Yeah, I know my core is getting worked as I come up, but I don't honesetly feel any burn at all in my core. At least not nearly as much as my legs feel the DOMS the next day.
