As a fighter. Do you think he will be dominant in UFC??
He's stated that his goal is to win Heavy and LH belts. I think that in the UFC that is just about impossible. Having to chance weight that much would be brutal on his body considering how often he would have to fight to protect both belts against top notch guys.
He's no BJ penn.
/end of Vera's dream.
Are you sure that he meant at the same time?
Good fighter from what I've seen so far but him thinking that he could take on anyone in the world ftl.
I think he's got a great shot at HW, hopefully he gets his chance after Monson.
throw him in with Kongo, wouldent mind seeing that.
he's looked good so far. time will tell, I don't have anything against him personally
Vera's a good guy but I can't help but feel that his personality is a bit forced
joe and mike were saying at 62 that mir looked WAY better and that he lost weight
Oh yeah, another thing is that I haven't really seen any of his fights go the distance, I would like to see what happens when it does.
Brandon will destroy Mir. Brandon's ground game is much better than anyone knows and his stand up is some of the best in the UFC currently. His only weakness is his youth and overall inexperience.
vera vs. congo FTW
yea they showed him fer a couple seconds with his gf/wife, smiled and waved to the camera. he did look like he lost weight though.
are you really that confident that Mir can beat Vera?
of course Mir can beat Vera, he is still the HW champion in my heart
now, but seriously now
what's your argument here?
I'm a fan. Have been for a while. His personality makes him marketable, and you can't deny that he is showing quite a bit of potential.
I laughed. Really loudly.
Has Vera v Mir been signed or confirmed?
Well, in the end Mir can look at himself and say
"At least i beat (empty) Tank Abbot."
