For example, do you still maintain a certain diet? Still do certain exercises? Or just say fuck it all and just rest, etc. to get better fast?

depends on how sick and if your contagious. If its a common cold, do your fellow gym members a favor and just do some workouts at home for a couple days. If its anything more than that then you should probably contemplate taking time off until your better.

If I'm coughing up a lung or have anything infectious I stay home otherwise I get loaded on cough syrup and hit the gym.

Working out when you're sick just makes it even worse. I take a few days off until I'm better.

As for my diet... I try to eat @ maintenance but I'm often below.

I couldn't work out when I was sick. I felt very weak and sneezing every minute didn't help. Stay away from the gym and don't spread your germs to other people. Pop ester C and get lots of sleep.

Depends on how bad the sickness is.

If I had the flu which usually includes fever, nausea, tiredness, etc... No way do I workout... and I just adjust my diet accordingly to whatever I feel like eating to allow me to feel better.

I make a point to not workout when I am sick, and to eat whatever my body is telling me that it wants.

The only exception is a head cold. I get head colds about 4 times a year, so once the initial bad part is over that includes bad sore throat, headaches, runny nose, etc... Which usually lasts about 3 days, I get back in the gym and get my diet back on track as the cold is winding down.

Don't let people tell you to "push through" the sickness and keep your diet and training regimine the same. Those people are retarded. We are not pro bodybuilders here, health comes first.
