    Is there a website which collects serial numbers of stolen things? I imagine the market for this stuff is pretty small.

    File police report then claim insurance. Better hope you have receipts for all that stuff.

    my insurance broker said i dont need receipts for my stuff. pictures are the only thing needed (seems odd).


    call your insurance agent.

    Interesting. When all of my stereo got stolen out of my truck I just gave them the receipt (they are still in process) but said that should be all they need.

    pictures or receipts will work. It is proof that you owned it.
    Then it will just take time to get it worked out with insurance.
