What do you all over-head press?

    How much you niggas throwin up for over-head press/push press? Jerk or just leg drive? Tell me now

    I have push pressed 300, probably good for around 225 to 250 now.

    Strict military w/no leg drive I've done 225...prolly good for like 170 now :rofl::ugh:

    Didn't you just do 195x6?

    If so, you're prolly good for a bit over 225. I remember doin 185 for 6 when I did 225

    I got a buddy who push presses 225 behind the head like it's nothing.. probably more now... shit scares me though how he lets it drop so fast right damn near his spinal cord.. lurks on here all the time, maybe he'll warm and fuzzy when he reads this

    i can SOHP 135 and i can squat prolly 315 so if i add those together since push press is kind of a squat and a SOHP, i can push press 450.

    Before I got hurt I hit 225x1 strict just did 185x5 the other day. Havent push pressed in a while.

    strict with no leg drive = 205

    haven't push pressed in a while. i probably should get back to it.

    I've done btn push presses with 225. i get some weird looks at the gym :)

    :rofl: i know that guy! I've seen him continental a regular bar up on his chest...crazy.

    to answer your question yes, you want to have the bar on the "shelf" so your whole body is giving you momentum
