Bought it today. Never owned a Palm or anything so this Windows Mobil is taking some getting used to.

i'm tethering mine right now at work and posting :noes:

it's a good phone, htc released a rom recently (v.2.16) and it fucked over lots of peoples devices so some people are getting exchanges to the htc touch for free....

there's a few issues that could be worked out (battery life, which they fixed with 2.16), but htc is saying a rom to "fix" the phone is due out in january. if they fix the memory leak issues and battery life from 2.08/2.09 it'll be a killer phone.

Wirelessly posted via wap.offtopic.com (sprint moguLOL: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 6.12) Sprint:pPC6800)

what I've heard about the cdms version (same specs) is that its pretty nice but it's lacking a proper keyboard and the on screen one sucks, which I can confirm, since its a touch suretype keyboard.

a few 3rd party keyboards are out that take care of that, and other than that, the mad amount of ram makes it pretty nice to use
