    1 x (80646-800) Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 2.4GHz, 800MHz FSB, Socket 478 Retail *** Free 2nd Day *** @ $163.90

    1 x (240307) Asus P4P800 Deluxe i865PE P4 800FSB Skt478 DDR ATX Motherboard w/Audio, LAN, RAID/Serial ATA Retail *** Free 2nd Day *** @ $126.99

Do u guys think they are good buys for the money? I wanted a PC for cheap that would hold me over for a while. I was looking at Athlons but my friend said its better to just get the 2.4 and overclock it.
I just want to be able to play games reliably, like doom III which lookks like it will need a good amount of power.
I will most likely get 1024MB RAM from crucial for like $160 or I can get 2GB for like 300-330
I still need a video card I guess, any recommendations? I will re-use my WD 80GB HDD and maybe get another huge one for storage...or I could get a DVDR and back shit up on that....
i might ge tone of those queer cases that have all these LED lights for 50 bux :big grin: :greddy:

Good chip and good board. The 2.4C is a kickass overclocker if you get good ram, PC3500 ddr or faster.
