The new Quad Cab SRT-10 comes with a 4 speed auto (48RE) as the only transmission.

Wait until the next generation Lightning comes out. I think it comes out for 2005. It will be redesigned along the lines of the new F150 and as I recall it will have around 500hp. Check it out anyways, it may be worth the wait.

    FORD SVT PROGRAM R.I.P. 2004

As for the price...45,850.00 check dodge.com, the one at my local dealership is 44,500.00. Not bad for a Viper with a truck body.

www.nloc.net thats the national lightning forum. I have been on the forum for over 2 years and helps out with any questions you have. The lightning is way faster than those dodges. I own a 94 lightning. The generation 3 lightnings will be comming out between 2006-2007. they have been delayed.(again)

supercharged 5.3l Silverado. made approx 400horse/400tq to the wheels with the 22s on. Runnin mid 13s with the 22s on spinnin for the 1st hundred feet or so. This is a heavyweight for a reg cab too with the audio equip, wheels, etc.

I think id pick this one and have the satisfaction of building it up myself...
