yeah no doubt. I'd never spend <$200 on something like this. If we'd do it, we're going to do it right. I know that much. Just curious and thought this would make a good thread

They will stop chlorine gas the problem with chlorine is it displaces all the oxygen so the your pretty much just suffocating from the lack of oxygen not the chlorine.

    Access to SCBAs ftw.

Of course if something major happened anywhere in the area we would be called to help.

I know all you would frown upon this cause i'm not operator, but I got the surplus israli mask from sportsmans guide as part of a halloween costume, and it worked fine with the included filter. I didn't die, and it even works when drunk. It does get a little hot and stuffy after a while though. Blocked out all of the smells of any odor nearby.

I feel bad for our SWAT team when they raid Meth labs... They have to wear flame retardent suits with blue tight chem suits of them, then the BDU's on top of that. Flame retardent gloves, duct taped at the wrists and boots, plus 40lb respirator tanks and gas masks, plus all of the combat gear including body armor. Oh yeah, its like 115* out here in the summer too.
