If specifics matter, a degree in economics from a Big 10 school.

And is there any branch that retroactively pays for your school?

Also, is pilot something you could just be enlisted as, or is that more of a process to become one?

I have 2 pretty highly ranked Marine connections that I'm sure could pull some strings as well, if that's possible in recruiting.

Your connections don't mean anything. Everyone has to have them to apply.

If you want pilot you must go officer. If your looking at the Marines, OCC is extremely competitive right now.

A degree doesn't translate into you being a good leader.
