I loved the pets the most. The horse whisperer type way of taming them, and then having a funny looking raptor following you around everywhere is pure gaming goodness.

My raptor loved meat. He needed to eat about 40 pieces of raw meat every few hours to be happy.

    What did you like best?

I'm thinking about getting this game, when does it come out? Is it addicting in a good way(worth getting addicted too), and is it better than eq2?

Man, the raids at the end were great. I had a blast defending ratchet and the crossroads. We got owned by a group of skull levels a few times though.

not that hard to get there, just need to do lots of quests and ONLY group for instanced dungeons. The XP curve is so high that I wouldn't doubt seeing a few lvl 60's after the 1st month of release.

    - The atmosphere. Everything about the game seemed to fit together so well.
    - The fact that it ran decently on my Geforce 2 MX.

rogue. the kill rate at levels 1-20 is incredibly fast. I think it took me all of 3 hours to get to level 10, and 5 days to get to level 30. some of the best noobie zones for sub level 20 grinds are in the dwarven starting areas. also the dwarven races had about 15 "go here and drop off this package" type quests which paid off very good XP for completion (800 XP range). when I can afford to grab a copy of retail, I'm going to roll up my priest for my guild, but use a rogue for my main money maker/item grabber. I anticipate hitting level 60 with the rogue in less than 2 months. my priest (since it's going to be leveling at the same pace as the rest of my guild for grouping purposes) will probably not hit 60 until 4 months or so.

all in all I think that for low end soloing (lvls1-30) the rogue is by far the fastest, while at the high end, a priest or hunter would fair better since the priest can heal themself to make otherwise nearly impossible battles viable, and the hunter can use their pet as a tank while they wail away from a distance with substantial ranged damage (at least that's what I've heard about the high-end hunters)

I liked hundreds of noobs running around asking what Malachite is for.
I liked the feeling of knowing I was going to buy the game.. a game worth buying after years of there being none.
