what day should i do deadlifts on?

    when i did them they would be on legs day (i figured there was alot of legs invovled) but i've heard people say that's bad too. should i switch it to back day? and should i stick to 1 deadlifting session per week?

    my split while bulking was like:
    chest/shoulders/tri's
    back/traps/bi's
    legs/abs
    twice a week.

    now that i'm cutting my weekly routine is more like:
    chest/tri's
    shoulders/abs/cardio
    back/bi's
    misc/cardio
    legs/abs
    cardio
    or something like that.

    and that day is monday

    I prefer them at the end of back day.

    Don't squat and dead on the same day. I put them at opposite ends of the week. My logic is that its basically the same movement.

    "Christophers" routine, that has worked so well for so many people has you DL and squatting on the same day.

    with your type of split it would be best to do conv. deads on back day and sldl or rdl on leg day

    i do them on leg day and alternate between that or squats. and will always do one form of either.

    like one cycle i'll do conventional squat and sldl then the next cycle ill do conventional deadlift and front squat.

    i just did them today for the first time again in awhile. 275lbs x 10. should i up the weight until i get closer to 5? i used the belt too because one time i was deadlifting and a guy walked up behidn me to talk to me and i made the mistake of just twisting a bit to see (i saw his reflection) and it tweaked my back for awhile. i think i'll always use the belt now just to be safe.

    btw, today was back day. no straps though, straps are gay. i did use alternate hand grip though.
