What compression/extraction software do you use?

    Yes it will continue to work, just gotta deal with the pop up reminding you that it has expired.

    Thanks. I really thought 7-zip would get a lot of votes due to it being opensource and supporting so many formats.

    I primarily compress to zip format for its popularity, but need a program that extracts many types. I will give WinRAR a try then.

    I use ZipGenius. It does everything WinRAR does, and it's freeware.

    For day-to-day file storage I just use NTFS compression.
