what causes shoulders to pull forward? how bout a forward neck?

    i notice some guys in the gym that appear to have concave chests because their shoulders look like tehy are pulling forward. what causes this?

    how bout the forward neck look?

    Working the chest too much and not enough back.

    are you sure? i thought it had to do something with inflexibility? maybe tight lats?

    I'm sure that I mentioned one among many potential reasons.

    How could tight lats cause the condition? Flex your lats and see what happens. Now shove your shoulders forward - what muscles are you using?

    why do they say stretching your legs can add inches to your chest? well at least make your chest look bigger? i was just reading on stretching on some yoga sites and it was mentioned that tight lats can pull your shoulders forward but i never heard of it,.

    you want to work your lower traps, NOT your upper traps...doing shrugs and such will make it worse
