found then in the bathroom closet, my father used to do photography but he pretty much hasnt taken anything in recent times. I know next to nothing about SLRs but I am very interested in making the jump via the Nikon D70. Since these lenses are for a Nikon N90 I assume that they will work with the D70?

What else can you tell me about them?

nah I don't think he even knows much about photography, the lenses were bought about 6 years ago and have been sitting in a closet for about 3. Besides we don't communicate much anyways.

70-300 is a cheapie zoom lens...you can get decent performance if you stop down and don't go past 200mm.

The 28 f/2.8 is a great wide angle prime but its kinda useless cause it'll be a 35mm on the D70. Still a great prime to have around though...its only 190 new though so it won't fetch too much used.
