I just built a new pc:

    Asus A8N-E
    Athlon X2 3800+
    OCZ 2GB Ram
    XFX 7900GT
    WD 250GB 16MB HD

I dont want to overclock anything but i just wanna make sure its not under clocked.

Other stuff i need checked out:

    1. My RAM shows up as 2.5 CAS Latency in the BIOS but newegg said it was 2

    2. How do i make sure AA and AF are on, on the video card. And is 8xS better than 4x?

    3. Is it better to have AMD Cool N Quiet on or off?

    4. In games such as Painkiller, Quake, COD2, Halo, HL2, F.E.A.R. How do you know what the framerate is?

    Thanks in advance.

Do a google search for the freeby from nVidia that is called nTune.
The newest version is at 3-somthing.
It lets you monitor every tiniest detail about everything when it comes to overclocking, or just checking settings. Even if the mobo doesn't support it, which your Asus will.

thanks for help i just ran 3dmark06 and my score is 3,800ish. Is that good for stock speeds?

Also, 3dmark06 says my VGA cards Core Speed and Memory Speed are both 0Mhz. What could be causing this?
