What can I do about my steering wheel?

    If you look at the pic below, you'll notice my steering wheel
    a) is kinda dull in color
    b) the leather is peeling/warped at about the 12 o'clock position. The wheel wasn't like this when I got it, but I remember it showing up after I put some "back to black" on it :( Is there anything I can do to reduce the effect? I would just like it to be smooth...

    putting slippery stuff on a steering wheel=bad

    Id just be safe and get a steering wheel cover or find a new one

    Yep, get a cover... that's what I had to do. Steering wheels are just too expensive to replace.

    I actually cured this with some lexol leather cleaner, just scrub it in with a toothbrush and it will reduce the noticeability of those cracks... but don't dress it and make sure its dried or really wiped off well before you go driving.
