    Star Trek 2: The Wrath Of Khan is one of the greatest movies ever. Masterful plotting and action.

    I also liked Dark City and The Matrix.

    You left off John Carpenter's The Thing.
    And I don't agree that the first Star Trek movie was particularly good.

    Dr. Strangelove was one of the best movies ever made, but I'm totally unclear on how people categorize it as sci-fi. Care to explain? It's more of a political comedy.

    with this movie, i think it's the distortion of humans to make something familiar seem almost alien.

    Good movies,sjambler.All mine are there:) Incidently,try the second hand video stores.The one downtown from where i am,have most of your "cant finds" for $2 a piece!
